The short answer

GetDriver is Italian NCC management software with an AI planner, a driver app, quotes, a client portal and electronic invoicing through Italy’s SdI, from 29.90 euros a month after a 30-day trial. Odobase is an alternative for operators who want a free plan, chauffeured trips and self-drive hire on one calendar, or a dashboard in six languages. It does not send invoices to the SdI.

If you run an NCC (noleggio con conducente) or chauffeur business in Italy, GetDriver is one of the names you will find first. It is built specifically for Italian NCC operators. Odobase is a broader alternative, used by chauffeur, car rental and passenger transport companies in several countries. This guide compares the two from what each one publishes, as read on 23 October 2026, and says plainly who each one suits.

What is GetDriver?

GetDriver presents itself on getdriver.io as “il gestionale NCC italiano con intelligenza artificiale”, for anyone from a single driver to a large NCC consortium. Its website lists:

  • bookings for transfers, hourly hire (disposizione), tours, shuttles and events
  • a drag-and-drop planner where AI suggests the driver and vehicle for each job
  • a driver app for iOS and Android with chat to the office, GPS tracking and an electronic service sheet
  • requests, a CRM and quotes as PDF, and a portal for business clients
  • importing jobs from PDF, email, WhatsApp or CSV files, and WhatsApp Business
  • expenses and receipts, price lists, reports and management control
  • electronic invoicing with submission to the SdI, credit notes and legal storage

It is made by Black Raccoon Srl in Florence, and the website is in Italian.

Who is GetDriver for?

GetDriver suits an Italian NCC company that wants one tool built around Italian requirements, with SdI invoicing and an electronic service sheet in the driver app, and an AI planner for its daily schedule. If those Italian requirements are your priority, it is designed for them, and Odobase does not cover them.

Who is Odobase for?

Odobase suits an operator who wants to start free, runs more than one kind of work, or works in more than one language. Chauffeured trips and self-drive hires share one availability check, so a car is never promised twice. Prices come from your own price list with zones, surcharges and waiting time, customers book through a booking form and accept quotes from their phone, and company clients use a customer portal with cost centres. Our guides on NCC fares and starting a chauffeur business show how the pieces fit.

How should you choose?

Run a week of real jobs through each one. GetDriver’s 30-day trial and Odobase’s free plan both allow it. Check three things: whether dispatch is quick enough on a busy morning, whether your drivers find the app easy, and whether invoicing meets your legal requirements. For an Italian NCC company, that last point means the fattura elettronica and the service sheet, which GetDriver handles and Odobase does not.

About Odobase

Frequently asked questions

What is GetDriver?

As of 23 October 2026, GetDriver describes itself on getdriver.io as Italian NCC management software with artificial intelligence, for anyone from a single driver to a large NCC consortium. It is made by Black Raccoon Srl in Florence, and its website is in Italian.

How much does GetDriver cost?

Its website lists Starter at 29.90 euros a month for one vehicle, Pro at 49.90 euros for up to 5 vehicles, Team at 79.90 euros for up to 10 vehicles, and Fleet on request, excluding VAT and with no commission on bookings. It offers a 30-day free trial and no free plan.

Does Odobase send electronic invoices to the SdI?

No. Odobase issues invoices from completed trips, with your logo, VAT and credit notes, but it does not transmit them to Italy’s Sistema di Interscambio. An Italian NCC company would issue the fattura elettronica with its own software or the Agenzia delle Entrate’s service.

Does Odobase have an electronic service sheet (foglio di servizio)?

No. Each Odobase trip records the driver, the vehicle, the times, the odometer readings and the route, but Odobase does not produce the foglio di servizio elettronico. GetDriver’s website says its driver app creates one.

Is there a free NCC management software?

Odobase’s Starter plan is free for up to 2 vehicles and 1 driver, with no card needed and no time limit. GetDriver offers a free 30-day trial of its paid plans.
