How do you price airport transfers?
Price them by zone. In the price list you draw circles on a map for each airport, with its code and terminals, and for the areas and cities you serve. A fixed route from the airport zone to a city zone gives the same fare every time, and anything outside your routes falls back to distance pricing with a minimum fare. How do passengers book an airport transfer?
Through your own booking form, on your website or as a link or QR code. The passenger picks an airport transfer, enters the flight number, passengers and luggage, and sees the price from your price list before booking. You choose whether bookings confirm instantly or arrive as quote requests in Leads, and the form respects your operating hours and minimum notice.
How do arriving passengers find their driver?
Each booking has its own trip link, sent by email or WhatsApp when the trip is confirmed and again when a driver is assigned. It shows the driver’s first name and photo, the car’s make, colour and plate, and the car live during the trip with an estimated arrival. The passenger can call or message your office without an app or a password. Hotels and companies with a corporate account see the same trip page from their customer portal, along with their quotes, invoices and monthly statement.
How do you handle waiting at the airport?
Flights land early and late, so set a free waiting allowance for airport pickups, separate from your other pickups and counted from the booked pickup time. Once it has passed, the driver can record a no-show. Odobase does not add waiting charges to the fare; our article on waiting time charges covers how operators set and explain them. Every booking becomes a trip in trip management, where only free drivers and cars are offered, so two arrivals at the same time never get the same car.

Frequently asked questions
Can I set different prices for each airport terminal?
Yes. An airport zone carries its airport code and terminals, and fixed routes run from that zone to the areas you serve, one way or both ways. You can add an airport fee as a surcharge, and the price list shows the full breakdown before you publish it.
Does Odobase track flights?
No. Odobase does not follow flight status today. The booking form records the flight number with each booking, so your dispatcher and driver have it on the trip.
Does Odobase charge passengers for waiting time automatically?
No. You set free waiting minutes, with a separate allowance for airport pickups, counted from the booked pickup time. After that, the driver can record a no-show. Waiting charges are not added to the fare automatically.
Can hotels book transfers for their guests?
Yes. Give a hotel a corporate account in the customer portal. Its staff book at the hotel’s own rate card, add a reference and cost centre to each booking, and receive one monthly statement.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Starter plan is free for up to 5 vehicles, 5 drivers, 2 team members and 1 branch, with no card needed. Every new account starts on it, with price lists, booking forms and the trip link already switched on.
