The cookies odobase.com uses, why, and how to change your choice.

## Summary

odobase.com uses only the cookies it needs to work: one remembers your cookie choice and one remembers the language you picked. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies today, and we will ask before we ever do. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

## 1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser, so it can recognise the same browser on a later visit. This policy covers the marketing website at odobase.com. The Odobase dashboard at fleet.odobase.com is a separate service covered by our [privacy policy](https://odobase.com/privacy-policy).

Neither cookie identifies you, and neither is shared with anyone. They are set only when you make a choice: when you answer the cookie banner, or when you pick a language.

### Cloudflare

odobase.com is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects the site from attacks and abusive traffic. When it needs to tell people from automated traffic, Cloudflare may set a security cookie such as `__cf_bm` (30 minutes) or `cf_clearance`. These are necessary for the site's security and do not track you across websites.

## 3. Analytics and marketing cookies

We do not use analytics or marketing cookies today. The cookie banner still lets you allow or refuse each category, so your choice is already recorded if we add such a tool later. Nothing in these categories will run unless you have allowed it, and we will update this policy, and ask again, before we add anything.

## 4. How the site picks your language

When you open the home page, odobase.com shows it in the language you chose last time, if you picked one. Otherwise it uses the country Cloudflare reports for your connection: from Italy, for example, you see the Italian site. If your country has no matching language, you see English. The country is used only for this choice and is never stored. Choosing another language in the menu at any time saves your choice in the `odobase_lang` cookie.

## 5. How to change your choice

- Use **Cookie settings** at the bottom of any page to open the banner again and change your choice.
- You can also delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the necessary cookies, the site still works, but it will ask about cookies again and will not remember your language.

## 6. Changes to this policy

We will publish any change on this page and update the "last updated" date above. If we add a cookie that needs your consent, the banner will ask you again.
